What is Gengo?
Gengo was founded in 2008 and was originally based in Tokyo and now have offices around the world.
Gengo is derived from the Japanese word for “language”.
Their translators work from home and provide text translations for over 35 languages. And some of Gengo’s biggest clients include The Huffington Post, Etsy and Trip Advisor.
How Does Gengo Work?
First, you upload text or a file to the Gengo servers.
Then a qualified translator will begin translating, almost immediately.
When the text translation is complete, the document is approved or a revision is requested.
Finally, the document is signed off and the translator gets paid.
