I’m going to be the first to admit that I’m ‘all in’ on blogging. And you may have noticed I’m quite bullish when it comes to ways to make money blogging because it really works.
Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not an overnight solution to your money problems but rather a long term solution that you can work on in the background while you’re hustling daily for money to pay the bills.
Blogging should be one of your core goals and I strongly believe a Youtube channel is the other.
Both these mediums take time to develop and that’s why it’s important to start right now.
The longer you wait, the longer it’ll take you to become financially free. Yes, a blog if done right can be part of your exit strategy from the rat race.
The choice is yours. Will you make it?
I’m not going to re-invent the wheel and teach you about blogging because you’ll find all you need here…
But rather I’m going to show you how to make money blogging.
How to Make Money Blogging
Once you get your blog up and running you’ll need to decide how you want to make money blogging. Most take the easy route and set up an Adsense account and put banner ads on their website.
I have to admit it’s easy to do and the ads are really targeted to your readers so it encourages them to click on the ads. The only problem with this is they then leave your website and may never return.
So you need to ask how much those ads are worth to you. Is your visitor only worth a few cents per visit?
If you need to use ads to fund your website then try leaving them off your landing page (homepage) so at the very least, your visitors will click thru on your posts before stumbling into an enticing ad.
Think carefully where you put the ads so the visitor sees them right before they want to leave your website anyway.
As a budding blogger, this is where you want to spend the most of your time. Affiliate Marketing pays very well, so it pays to learn more about affiliate marketing.
I’ve mentioned before about a Free Training Product that’s really worth investigating. It’ll teach you everything you need to know about Affiliate Marketing and much more than I can teach you on this blog.
Here’s that link again and I recommend you join and do the basic video training because it’ll probably change your life.
Affiliate marketing is tried and tested and it’s no longer a questionable online marketing tactic. People who provide value in exchange for a small commission are worth every penny.
The retail sector has been paying commissions on sales forever, so what’s so different about online sales. Nothing.

Now this is a curve ball, because I should be talking about making your own products and selling them directly on your blog. But in reality just by blogging a few times a week, your writing skills should improve enough to sell your time.
